The so-called Black Sitting by Milton Greene is my favourite series of photographs of Marilyn Monroe.
It took place in New York in 1956 before Marilyn left for California to make Bus Stop (my favourite movie).
This series remains the ULTIMATE Monroe-Greene achievement. For all its sexy fishnet stockings and
provocative attitudes it retains the saucy innocence of a little girl playing dress-up.
