Starting in the early 1990's, the most exquisite Marilyn Monroe Dolls hit the scene. By far, the Franklin Mint has put out more dolls than any other company.  While their early dolls did not do a great job capturing her facial features, they did improve over time.  Some of the final dolls made were among their best.

Unfortunately, in 2012 the Franklin Mint decided to discontinue portrait dolls completely.  Understandably, collectors are shocked and saddened by this news.

Here is a complete list of the Marilyn dolls that have been released by the Franklin Mint. I have highlighted the ones I own in red.  Please note that I am not interested in adding to my doll collection at this time.  If you have dolls you are interested in selling I suggest you list them on Ebay.

Note: Some of the dates below are my best guess.
