This book is based on the discovery of 2 filing cabinets that were part of Inez Melson's estate.  Inez worked as Marilyn's business manager.

The contents of those filing cabinets were carefully categorized and photographed.  Some of it was shared already in the 2010 Vanity Fair article with Marilyn on the cover.

However, this book houses items you have never seen before.  It reminds me of looking through the Christie's catalogue.  In particular I was awed by the photos of Hugo taken by Marilyn.

The book is much larger than I was anticipating and I am really impressed with the layout.  The cover is one of my favourites.  Finally, a book with a fresh look and not the same old photos. 

This is a MUST HAVE for the serious Marilyn collector.  I love it.
